About Donna Frost

Donna Frost Donna Frost is an award-winning mixed media artist residing in Tarpon Springs, FL. Her painting journey began as a realistic painter but soon evolved into her true passion for abstract painting. Now her works emphasize not only abstract and non-objective painting but also include a very loose and interpretive style of figurative painting. Although she maintains a strong passion for an abstract approach to her work, she says “I try never to lock myself into any rigid corner and always leave the door open to any style of creative expression.” She uses a wide range of media and technique including layers of acrylic paint with a variety of texture and collage elements all of which create an exciting visual dialogue with the viewer.

Donna works out of her Clearwater studio and exhibits her work in many local venues and galleries in Florida and other states. She is a member of Florida Watercolor Society, International Society of Experimental Artists, a signature member of the International Society of Acrylic Painters and a member of the Florida Chapter of ISAP. She is also one of the founding members of the local artist groups C5Arts and Art Trysts. Donna is also represented by Xanadu Gallery in Scottsdale, AZ and Brainerd Gallery in Bluefield, WV.
